A Different Stage

I felt old yesterday;

did some things the neck

didn’t appreciate, and the

“check engine” light came on.

Part of the game, really,

seeing what can be done

comfortably, safely.

But isn’t it that way

for us all? Don’t we all

find out what we are

capable of, and learn

what is unwise?

It’s part of the journey,

and I may be entering

a different stage. But

life will not have ended.

We adapt. We grow.

There is still much to

look forward to, still

much to do.

The adventure continues.
